Message spools the turbos quicker? Is that what I hear? If so, our "sources" disagree. I talked to Clark at JWT at length about that issue (me thinking that higher compression would help the turbos to spool quicker). His contention is that the energy used up in the combustion process with higher compression diminishes exhaust energy and therefore negatively affects spool time. You're the engineer, in Grad. school all the people in my profession ran away from anything resembling science. That's why there are over 200 types of therapy...."hey I'll try this and see if anything good happens"! Take care, Mark
